Registration verification image
Hi
I cannot see a certain type of image verification( usually used for registration on a website) with any browser I have tried on my netbook Advent 4211C
Examples are below. My OS is XP
http://www.cyberrecovery.net/forums/...b107aea11388ef
http://1.2.3.12/bmi/www.fxstreet.com...JpegImage.aspx
http://www.fxd.com/image.php?type=hv...7e9276479e36c6
http://forum.fxopen.com/image.php?ty...cc8488aa70d089
http://www.forexfactory.com/image.ph...9494728d1bc136
http://www.forexforums.com/forums/im...416f0ae62654c1

It just shows as a blank area on the webpage
Most of the above have hv&hash in the type=. I wonder if this is a clue.

On the other hand the following are are another commonly found image verification which I can see
eg the following
http://www.mykitbag.co.uk/forum/capt...87fd5fc6ebac2d
http://www2.oanda.com/cgi-bin/msgboard/captcha.cgi?73
http://api.recaptcha.net//img/clean/refresh.png
http://api.recaptcha.net/image?

I can normally see other gif and jpeg images on webpages

I tried http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q283807
as suggested on your forum but not solved
Any further suggestions please?

welcome to TSG.

I get the same Nothing often, but I assume my Internet Security program won't allow it to display, because those sites are dangerous.
maybe someone has a better answer

Thanks for your reply but the sites I am referring to are not dangerous and the rest of the webpage is fully visible. In fact if I use a friends computer the registration image is also visible and I am able to register.
