Solved: Random message generated AVG.
Running both XP and Vista with Free version 8.5 of AVG using Thunderbird as email generator. My problem is that for some reason, at the end of my emails I'll get the "No virus found and date generated with the version# etc." I want this boilerplate to appear every time but I just get it inserted randomly and I can;t find the trigger that is making it a go or no-go. Is there anything in tools etc. that will force it to insert this message? Have I not set some switch? Will appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks, Paul

Firstly, you need to upgrade to the latest version of AVG; this may solve your problem. If not please reply again.

Click here to download AVG Free Edition 9.0.698.

EXTONS,
The upgrade did not solve the problem. In fact it made it worse in that now I never get the message instead of randomly.

In AVG, pull down the Tools menu, and choose advanced settings. Then go to the email settings.
