Hello,
Pls i have a problem with a dv600 hp laptop running on Viata. the problem it give is as follows...

if i slot my ear pieces into the ear pieces slot it does not disconnect the speaker in other for the ear pieces to start talking.

Secondly if i open my device manager under DVD/CD-ROM DRIVE i have TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L632N ATA Device, its has a yellow label which means its not working.if i slot a cd to my dvd Rom it does not load the cd.

Also i have another laptop which is giving me problem.when i scan my laptop with my kaspersky internet security after 5 mins of starting the scan the screen turns bule, then the laptop shuts down AND REBOOT.

Can anyone help me on how to resolve these issues.thanks

You should start a seperate post for the different PC - post the make and model and as much info as possible

it will get very confusing if you get answers here for two problems

-
On the DVD in device manager

have you tried right clicking on the yellow ? and update driver?

have a careful read through this article which refers to code 19
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;314060

Make sure you have all your data copied off the machine - its possible that the machine will fail if playing with registry
do you have a set of recovery CD/DVDs or have you created them ...?
You may need these to re-install windows again
