I'm not sure if you're downloading and installing correctly. Some users have a problem with doing that. They download the files on their desktop(and clutter their desktop in the process) and then assume they've already been installed.

Create a folder right on your desktop and then name it Downloads or whatever name you want.

When you go to a site to download a program, you want to select "Save" and then direct it to download inside the desktop folder.

You can download as many programs as you want and save them inside that folder before you install them.

After you're through downloading and are ready to install those programs, you go inside the desktop folder and double-click each file to start the install process.

If you ran a Malwarebytes scan, I hope you selected and allowed it to remove EVERYTHING it found.

If you closed Malwarebytes after it ran a scan and didn't allow it to remove anything, you need to run another scan and then allow it to remove EVERYTHING this time.

After you're prompted to restart your computer and it restarts, go into the Malwarebytes "Logs" tab and obtain the scan log, then copy-and-paste it here.

You're doing real good. Just be patient because we have a lot of work to do.

I want you to run the update function of Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware and get them up-to-date, then run a "quick scan" with them, then let them remove anything else they find, then post their new scan logs here. I just want to make sure they're coming up clean now.

Considering the massive amount of problems that were found and removed, I highly suggest that you run these programs and let them do their thing every 2 weeks or so.

Unless you recently purchased PC Tools Spyware Doctor, get rid of it. You don't need it because you have MBAM and SAS now. It's also resource-hungry.

I need to see what's installed in that computer so we can get rid of some of the unneeded and outdated programs.

Open HijackThis.

Click on the "Open The Misc Tools Section" button.

Click on the "Open Uninstall Manager" button.

Click the "Save List" button.

Save the "uninstall_list.txt" file somewhere. It'll then open in Notepad.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the entire file here.

You didn't need to do a full/complete scan the second time around. A quick scan will suffice. And a quick scan will suffice every couple of weeks or so.

After you uninstall PC Tools Spyware Doctor and restart, go into the C:\Program Files folder and delete the PC Tools and/or Spyware Doctor folder - if it's still there.

Go into ""Programs And Features" and browse through the list of programs. If you see any programs that you don't recognize and don't need and don't use, write down the names and post the list here. Many users have a bad habit of accumulating unneeded and unused programs over time. The end result is a computer full of clutter.

Here are a few outdated programs in your list. If you use them, update them. If you don't use them, uninstall them.

You need Sun Java Runtime Environment and Adobe Reader, so don't uninstall those 2.
