Solved: registry
dear gang when ive finished using Ccleaner and ive clicked on "fix issues" afterwards i read that i need to delite registry value now i havent got a clue how to do this so simple terms please

When you click on "Fix Issues" that's when it deletes the registry entries, but if you deleted everything without checking each one to make sure it was safe to delete then you could very well have some problems later on. You should never delete anything from the registry unless you're absolutely sure of what you're doing.

When you did "Fix Issues" it also should have created a backup that will be in your My Documents folder and the filename is something like cc_......reg, with the date and time after cc_.

I would double-click on that file and it will restore what's be deleted.

If you keep on using registry cleaners/boosters/optimizers, you're going to break programs and damage the operating system and eventually wind up having to do a fresh install.
