XP Home, Dell. Firefox in Sandboxie. Pop up of blank window with AVG Icon, title "Web Browser". Task Manager says avgtray.exe.

I've removed the screenshot and edited the text as we don't allow profanity, even if it's an acronym. This is a family oriented site.

I assume you just upgraded AVG to version 9? Because I'm seeing a lot of people having the same problem and it seems that uninstalling and reinstalling may fix it.

I would do a full uninstall via the Control Panel first and then run the AVG removal tool to be sure all remnants are gone, then reboot the machine before reinstalling again.
