Blue screen problems
Hey Tech Guys . My brother and sis swore that you are the help of all help here.
I think my problems with this laptop is a multitude of things but maybe you can help on each one.

1st---My computer shuts off at start-up 75% of the time recently; maybe since August. It will get to the point of accepting my password to boot the system totally up and then it goes dark and blank. Nothing after that. I start it back up and then it boots up.

2nd-If it doesn't flicker from #1 then sometimes it will try to boot up and flash a blue screen with a bunch of white letters. When I cut it off and start it up again, it sends a message saying that windows just stopped the system from a blue screen.........This happens weekly.

3rd--One of my email accounts had someone else posing as me to my friends and was telling them to go to a certain site.I had no idea what was happening, and one of my yahoo friends called me via cell phone to ask me if I was on the net at like 2:30 in the morning! Had NOOO clue. Now I'm saying this because I don't know if this is part of the reason my computer is starting to be schitzo.

4th--Computer runs real so in the beginning; probably the 1st 10 minutes and then it works at regular speed, if I can get things working.

5th--Once a message said that my registry was corrupted. I never saw it again though.

This is all that I can think of. I have McAffee and many, many times the computer will start up but then say the computer is not protected and when I would click on McAffee it will show several items in red, as in it's been disabled. Then I would have to enable it again.

Help please! I can't get to my master's classes consistently :~S

Please click here to download and install the HijackThis installer.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

Do not fix anything

Can you please post a few of your latest minidump files? They are located in C:\WINDOWS\Minidump. ZIP them and attach them to your next post.

Right-click on the minidump file, select Send To > Compressed (zipped) Folder. Save them to your desktop.

Try copying the files to the desktop or another folder and zip them from there.

You don't need to unzip them. Attach the zipped files to your next post.
