Why don't we add this one to the mix

How To Use SUPERAntiSpyware

since they're both recommended and used so frequently in these forums.

I've got links to both in my IE8 favorites list now.

Thanks for posting that MBAM link, Kenny.

I have a very pressing question regarding this subject and hope I can interrupt here.
Every time I have a problem, I am advised to use Malwarebytes, which I use at least once a week.
Also I am supposed to use SuperantiSpyware. And that's where I ALWAYS run into problems.
Each and every time after scanning with SuperantiSpyware, programs don't run, Inter connections refuse to work, my Kaspersky gets corrupted (running it or not) .I have to do a System restore before SAS ran and delete SAS.

Why, oh why ?
sorry for the hijacking of the thread, maybe others have the same problem? Or what do I do wrong?

bp936:

Your input into this thread is valid.

I personally use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware in my 4 computers(3 XP, 1 Vista) and have installed them in numerous computers that I've worked on. I haven't had a problem with either of them negatively affecting programs and connections.

thanks for the reply Flavallee
I am so frustrated, since nothing is ever found by any program. Even when I ran SAS and did not load (unclicked even in msconfig) the others.
Malwarebytes finds nothing. Kaspersky finds nothing.
But then, why does my computer gets screwed up after running SAS?
I also have 1 desktop, 2 laptops, all XP's. It happens on all of them. Also all hjt logs never show anything suspicious.

If ANYONE knows, also a tutorial site, how to use and understand Hijackthis, maybe I'll know more.

This is a good site to learn about HijackThis:

http://www.aumha.org/a/hjttutor.php

Let the log experts help you though, and don't try to fix things yourself that you're not sure about.
