Exclamation frozen touchpad
My laptop touchpad has been freezing up periodically, seemingly triggered by my use of the scrolling portion of the pad, though using that portion of the pad does not always result in my touchpad freezing up.

Prior to this issue, I had run ComboFix and logged onto the forums to post my log (post located here)--other than that, I haven't been doing anything unusual with my laptop recently.

Any helpful suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

ComboFix should never be used without the guidance of a qualified gold shield member here.

What's the brand name, model name, and model number of that laptop?

Is it using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate?

I ran it because my Dad's tech guy suggested he run it on his laptop a while back, but it was foolish of me to not look more into it myself before running the file, and for that, I apologize.

HP G60-235WM Notebook PC, 64-bit. I updated drivers my drivers about a month ago from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...roduct=3894828

I'm considering re-installing the Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad driver, but I suppose I should wait for input as to whether or not that's actually a good idea.

Thank you for your response.

That's a much newer Synaptics touchpad driver version(15.2.20) for Windows 7(64-bit):

I've just downloaded it, and am now about to install it. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for finding that newer driver for me, I haven't had any issues yet and I've got some cool new features, to boot.

Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it.
