Angry HP PSC 1350 problem/slow printing
About a week ago, I noticed my printer had begun printing very slowly. In fact tonight, I decided to try and time a test print page. It took about 45 minutes for the Windows print page to complete. It did one line about every 15 seconds. The Printer is directly attached to the printer via USB cable.

Since I am using Windows 7, I am not sure how to go about removing the printer drivers, and I have run the HP Problem solver, with no issues showing.

I attached my laptop directly via USB cord, and it did the same thing, 45 minutes for the test page.

I have disconnected the cord, and restarted the computer with no change. I have opened the front and back of the printer to see if I could identify the issue, but found nothing out of order.

Is there anyone who has been through this?

I would hate to buy a new printer, as I have always loved the way this printer performs for me.

Thank You

Glockster35

You've probably gone Here, but remember that inkjet's rails get gummy because of the ink so make sure they're not sticky thereby slowing the mechanical part slow...

Yep, been there done that! Searching the internet, I am not the only one with this issue, and no one has posted a fix that I can find.

The computer is less than a year old, and the printer is probably 6 years old maybe.

6 years old is a long time for a small inkjet printer.....Might be time to replace it...
