[Fuxetan]

Hello, my little sister discovered this morning that the monitor wouldn't show any picture when she turned the computer on, so i tried to fix it.

Here's what i tried:

1. Cleaning the computer
2. Changing the graphics card
3. Tried another screen (with the old and new graphic card)

I've now plugged the monitor directly into the integrated graphic card in the motherboard, and that works but i still want to know what the problem might be.

Plug your graphics card into a different slot in your motherboard?

Perhaps a new VGA cable?

Thanks for the reply, i tried a different VGA cable and my motherboard only has one PCI-E slot.

It sounds like it's the motherboard, and if you only have one PCIe slot, I'd reccomend a new motherboard. Are you doing any type of gaming/video editing, cause if so running off the integrated graphics is going to suck!

Yeah i think so too, or if it's only the PCI-e slot that is weird.
