What do you think of my build?
I don't do much gaming but Minecraft, Angry Birds, Quake 3 Arena and a few other casual games but I need some advice on if this build is good enough for 3d modeling, word processing, Photoshopping, and video production. I will be using Cinema 4D, Word 2010, Photoshop Elements CS5 and using Sony Vegas. Here's my build:

CPU:Intel Core i7-2700K Sandy Bridge 3.5GHz Quad Core
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
Hard Drive: 1 TB
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6750
OS: Windows 7 64-bit SP1

I have almost no idea what I'm talking about here lol. I'm having a friend build it for me, but I want your guys' input on this build for what I'm using it for.

If any more info about my build is needed, I have it right in front of me, so just ask!

Thanks!

Also, my CURRENT build is the following:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+
3 GB RAM
800 GB hard drive
2x Geforce 8500 GT in SLI
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS

Do you also think it's time for an upgrade?

Lol! I know that. I just listed the MAIN components. I'd be more than happy the other things too. Not to mention I have no idea what I'm talking about lol.

Moving to "Do It Yourself" since this is not a technical problem for the technical forums.

All components are main components in their own way. To get a reasonable opinion on a system you need to list everything, you could have a really decent CPU, GPU etc and have it letdown with a poor quality motherboard which would slow the system. Or a bad PSU which could increase your risk of failure and/or damage etc.
