Smile Compatability question
Will a Cornea mp704 monitor work with an hp dc5850 desktop computer with amd athlon 64 X2 processor 2GB memory and a 160 GB hard drive? The monitor has a 15 pin analog video connector. Will this monitor work with this desktop?

If your desktop has a VGA port (15 pin blue port shaped like the letter "D", on the back where all the ports are located) then yes..

No.

The monitor has to have the same connection type as the computer. Look at the computer and determine what connections it has. I've never seen any kind of oval-shaped port on a computer. A picture would be interesting. I'm sure it has VGA.

The Cornea mp704 monitor only has a 15-pin analog VGA input.

The hp dc5850 has 1 15-pin analog VGA input. Yes, the monitor will work on your computer.
