I have replaced my graphics card with an Asus GT 520 Silent card. My Op Sys is XP Pro(Media Centre).
I load the drivers and then restart the machine. It then hangs on the Windows XP screen. The only way to reboot is to switch it off and restart on the last settings option.
I have used drivers from the CD and also downloaded from the Asus site.
Anyone recognise this problem.

Well since the only change you made is the graphics card I would assume your problem is the graphic card is defective. Put the old card back in just to make sure it isn't anything else. If all is well RMA the card.

Thanks for that. The main problem I have is that to make the card fit I had to bend a couple of the fins to clear the motherboard power connector. So RMA may be a problem. I really suspect a clash of some sort so I am going to do a reload of the OS see if that does the trick.
