Iomega 320GB Hard Drive not recognized

Hello so my Dell XPS Studio 16 running on W7 Home Premium does not recognize my Iomega hard drive anymore after about 6 months of use. In my computer Hard Disk Drives there is nothing BUT in Control Panel>Hardware and Sound> Devices and Printers it shows as connected and installed properly. Any ideas? I tried using a few USB based utilities but it doesnt seem to help me at all.
