Question what is this on my graphics card
this is more of a curious question but i have a EVGA GeForce 6200, 256MB DDR2. (i think thats all that matters) and it has this other plug thing and i wanted to know what it's for. i've been using it for a while and it works perfectly fine. i love it its great but i was just curious

That is a cooling fan power connector.
Your card is passive,so they didn't use a fan.

You can get fans that fit onto your graphics card hence this.

What does passive mean? and i thought that's what the black thing was for was for cooling

Passive is basically a heat sink with no fan.
It relies on air moving through the computer case
to move the heat.
Like from the case fans.
Active cooling is something actually doing
something active,like a fan cooling the heatsink.
That passive heatsink is fine for that card.
