Solved: Drivers missing after vista recovery
Hi Tech Guys, i have a emachines laptop which had a fake installation of windows 7 on which was running really slow so today i re-installed vista home premium 32 bit.
Installed fine except that i cant get on the internet! in Device Manager it says under Other Devices-Ethernet controller, the drivers for this device are not installed (code 28).
The same goes for Network Controller.
It doesnt tell me what they are called so i cant find out where to get the drivers.
Please can someone help??
thanks in advance

Windows Validation
Please run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and post back the report it creates:
  • Download MGADiag to your desktop.
  • Double-click on MGADiag.exe to launch the program
  • Click "Continue"
  • Ensure that the "Windows" tab is selected (it should be by default).
  • Click the "Copy" button to copy the MGA Diagnostic Report to the Windows clipboard. Note nothing will appear to happen
  • Paste the MGA Diagnostic Report back here in your next reply.
