Hello,

I know this is a common issue, but I can't seem to find a case quite like this one.

My audio is fine for hours on end, but as I begin to play a game my speakers are riddled with static. The static sound intensifies until no sound is heard from the speakers at all. If i quit the game I am playing and turn a song on (at this point there is no audio), static will appear and slowly turn into its proper sound (around 10 minutes).

What I have tried:
-I have tested the speakers by plugging them into an iphone when the static occurs, and they work fine.
-I set my CPU clock back to default settings, upgraded my bios, and updated my on board audio drivers.
-Restarting/unplugging the computer has no effect. The static goes away as time passes.

Notes:
-This issue can also occur out of nowhere, but less frequently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
