Help with a problem on booting up please
When booting my computer sometimes I get a continual beep sound similar to when you leave a heavy object on your keyboard and one of the keys are depressed. If I press any key the sound stops, but if I open a document or an email message and I start typing I get the following t/////////////////////////////////// , it doesn't matter which key I press I still get ///////////
and the only way to correct this is to reboot the computer
Is this a hardware or software problem or maybe a problem with the MB
Help and advice would be much appreciated

Easiest test is to try a different Keyboard see if it continues. My first suspect would be a bad keyboard.
