Solved: My sound is borked
Well as the title of this says my sound is all messed up when used on youtube, TERA, League of Legends, etc etc etc. The only program that seems to work right in the sound aspect is Skype. I have tried updating the sound cards drivers and messing with the "Environment" setting. the way that the audio comes out is any voice is over taken by the background music and if there is no music then their voice is metallic and has some re-verb.
Here are my pc spec's by the "Tech Support Guy System Info":
----
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7
Processor Count: 8
RAM: 8143 Mb
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 476835 MB, Free - 399527 MB;
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC., P8Z77-V LX
Antivirus: None
Sound card: Realtek ALC887
----
Anywho, thanks in advance.

Could not be more incorrect. You need AV software; end of story.

Next you post that you updated the sound card drivers. Is this a real sound card or are you using the mb onboard sound?
From what site did you get the drivers?

Have you tried a system restore to a date before this occurred?

Not much protection.
These a free programs and run very well with windows. Down load each one and let them update their definitions and let them scan your computer. Let the program delete whatever it finds.
Microsoft Security Essentials http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=5201
Malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php
Superantispyware http://www.superantispyware.com/down...NTISPYWAREFREE

Make sure your Windows is up to date. Then let us know if your sound still isn't working.
