MS Keyboard 5000
I have just installed this keyboard and set the My Favourites keys. Now, whenever I use one, the first thing that happens is a camera shutter sound, and a message saying 'picture successfully saved as .........' I will be getting hundreds if this carries on - any ideas?

Are you sure you set those keys correctly?

You may want to uninstall the keyboard software and then reinstall the latest version: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en...loads#keyboard

What does the Intellitype software report the keys are set too?

Have you tried the keyboard on another computer without the Intellitype software?

They are all set to open various programs eg C:\Info Select\is.exe, or an excel spreadsheet. Jeremy

Which exact keyboard do you have? MS Keyboard 5000 isn't the full model number.

Have you tried it on another computer/laptop to check it's behavior?

Microsoft Wireless comfort keyboard 5000 Model 1394.
I can't seem to get it working on the laptop, only the mouse works!

I am going to be without my computer for a few days - for a different problem connected with not being able to download Microsoft updates, so I will not be able to respond quickly. Jeremy

Are you taking it in somewhere to be fixed for that issue? If so take the keyboard with you too.
