Your hard drive is faulty:

Quote:
SATA PORT0 WDC WD5000BEVT-80A0RT0 01.01A01
S.M.A.R.T. CAPABLE AND STATUS BAD
Time for a new hard drive.

Here's some compatible replacements: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...lue=360%3A7801

A drive with a faster spindle speed, ie. 7200 RPM vs 5400 or 4200 RPM, tends to be faster. Also a larger cache, 64MB vs 32MB or 16MB or 8MB or 2MB is also better. Your current drive is 500GB, 5400 RPM with 8MB cache.

A hybrid drive like the following is even faster as it combines a mechanical drive with a SSD drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822178339
