It may help to post what computer you have. Please run the TSG System Information Utility and add the information to your Computer Specs in your Account Profile. Also, if it's a big box name brand system then post the full and exact model of the PC in question.

So the both front USB ports don't work at all or just don't work with certain devices? Did you try uninstalling all the USB drivers from Device Manager and rebooting? You may want also want to update/reinstall the AMD chipset drivers: http://support.amd.com/en-us/downloa...s%208%20-%2064

So the only thing that doesn't is one PS3 controller? Everything else works? Have you tried it on the back USB ports?

Have you installed the AMD Chipset drivers from here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/downloa...s%208%20-%2064

If you installed it, as in went through the AMD Catalyst screens then that's all there is too it. You don't need to access it after installing it.

Please answer these questions individually:

1) My question was if you plug the PS3 controller into a back port does it work? There are at least 4 if not 6 USB ports on the back of the computer.

2) Does another device work in the front USB ports such as the mouse or the keyboard?

If you use the PC only for charging then you can try this solution/Answer here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...8-04836e4f1c4b

Or indeed you can buy a PS3 Controller charger or dock.
