Solved: Brand new motherboard installation, now no network adapters in device manager?
I installed a new motherboard, and updated the OS (XP home). Device manager does not show any network adapters, though the ethernet port is built into the motherboard. Any idea what could be going on? All advice gratefully appreciated!

Check the manual and see if it mentions anything about enabling the port. Also, did the motherboard come with a cd? Might need drivers installed.

Perhaps you need to activate the network feature in your bios ?
And ya, check the mobo CD for drivers to.
