I have blown up lots of stuff. I am good at that.

I did see a PSU actually shoot sparks out of the back and die with a loud pop and lots of stinky smoke. Powmax 500 watt as I recall and it was in an AXP machine that "may" have pulled 300 watts full load.

Still though after the pop and the sparks and smoke there was no fire. Granted I pulled the plug on that hummer but still.

I believe you DID say it's a fake since the Opposite of "Isn't known for posting facts" is the truth, which would make the Inquirer and this story all lies. AGAIN, I challange ANYONE here to prove to me that this story is STAGED or FAKED or didn't really happen as reported by the Inquirer.
/ Thats what I thought !!

I challenge you to find another main stream news source with the same information.

My statement as to they aren't known for posting facts in no way confirms that I said it was fake.

I actually am shocked you don't see more of these kinds of things happening than you do.
This is the biggest reason I oppose leaving a machine on 24/7

Inquiring minds want to know!

MAC Laptop Explodes

Geek Disappears

Compaq

Cell Phones

It's funny that the only "news" sources that picked up on it were the Inquirer and the Register. Must be some conspiracy between DELL and the major news networks!!

Monica's dress!! We can test for alien DNA!! Like I said Candy, the only souces that even have the "incident" posted are the Inquirer and the Register. I am waiting for a reliable source like the Tattler to post the story, then I will believe it as fact.
