Driver detective says I need to update the drivers for my USB

My Driver is listed as:

Intel(R) 82801/DB/DBM USB 2.0 Enhanced Controller - 24CD

Under that I have:

Intel(R) 82801/DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C2
Intel(R) 82801/DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C4
Intel(R) 82801/DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C7

and then:

4 Identical USB Root Hub listings.

Can someone tell me where I would find drivers for these? I googled it and can't find what I am looking for, thought maybe someone here had updated their's and would no, Thanks

Are you noticing a problem with your USB ports? Usually, USB drivers are not needed because they are built into Win XP SP1 and SP2.

Are you having trouble with USB ports now? If not leave it alone. If so go here and download the chipset drivers at the bottom of the list. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...=383638&os=228

Not having any problems, I just ran driver detective and it said they needed updated so I thought I better, but I will just leave them, why does the program tell me they need to be updated?

Could be alot of reasons. If you haven't though, I'd do as pugmug suggested and update your motherboard and chipset drivers to the most current versions. Companies release updated drivers for a reason, and it's always a good idea to keep everything current.

But if your system works without errors, it's not something that's overly critical.
