Could be alot of reasons. If you haven't though, I'd do as pugmug suggested and update your motherboard and chipset drivers to the most current versions. Companies release updated drivers for a reason, and it's always a good idea to keep everything current.
But if your system works without errors, it's not something that's overly critical.
