Solved: Signal Frequency out of range in safe mode
I am using Windows xp with Iiyama flat screen monitor and everything works fine until I try to go into safe mode then I get this message" Attention signal frequency is out of range please change timing".I do not know if this is a windows problem or a monitor problem and do not know how to go about fixing it.Pc has just come back after having a complete re install and is absolutely fine otherwise.

it means your monitor doesnt support the size/bit depth of your screen resolution. or u had a driver change/ tweak that messed it up.

i had a problem with something like this, uninstall your drivers, reboot, and then install the latest drivers... it should fix it. i hope

Signal Frequency out of range in safe mode
Just thought i'd update ademzuberi on the outcome of problem.I decided to return pc to technical guys today and they did uninstall and reinstall graphic driver but message still appeared. They then tested the monitor in another pc and it was not faulty. After a very long time they discovered the problem was a rogue registry key which prevented machine going into safe mode, they had never come accross this problem before but pc is now working in safe mode. Thanks for your help.
