happy memorial day everyone!

my latest problem that im having is blowing my brains out so ANY help at all is much appreciated
ive been using my socket 423 mobo (E210882 IBM Server board in a Gateway tower lol) and one of my hard drives crashed because it got to hot [i think] and windows fixed it but some files got corrupted so i decided to reinstall winderz
so i zero'd the hd and everything was ok with SP2

well i shut down the computer and decided to put a front case fan in and i finally got around to testing it so i unplugged the hd so it wouldnt boot the tried the fan and noticed that i got nothing from that plug which i was just using for another fan i put on my grapics card (i put a cpu fan on my radeon 9550). so i tried unplugging and plugging back in and still nothing. nothing through any fan after that.

i hadnt paid any attention to my monitor and didnt notice nothing was coming up. well i put the fan aside and tried to boot like normal but nothing but a black screen and no input. here's what i tried:
tested monitor with another pc [passed]
put cpu in another pc [passed]
graphics card [passed]
ram [passed]
ps [passed]
new case fan [passed]

i know first instinct would be a dead mobo but how could it be fine then all of a sudden not work? any other tests i can try? alll fans spin, the cpu even gets warm (which im not sure really means anything because i tried a cpu that had been cracked and all the fans still spun) but im kinda bummed out because i just got this 3 months ago and it had everything that i wanted on it.
