Hey guys, what's up? I haven't posted on this thread for a while because i had no pc. I sold my old XPS 600 to a friend of mine and just got my new DELL XPS 710 a few days ago, it's a much improved pc as compared to my last one. I no longer think about overclocking my pc, it has great performance with my new core 2 duo processor and geforce 8800 GTX gpu. Also come august 13th i'm going to apply for the motherboard exchange offered by DELL so then i'll be completely satisfied. Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for their advice, wether it was good or bad lol. Much appreciated, and see you guys in other forums.

Google "jmsandrsn" and oc your Dell!
Hey folks.

Take a look at this guy's handiwork ("jmsandrsn").

There is a lga775 cpu socket jumper mod which tricks the
mobo into believing it is running an ExtremeEdition cpu.

The mobo will then run the fsb up to 1066 from 800.

The xps's were designed for the EE cpu including the fsb and
cpu cooling. So, depending on the robustness of your CPU,
you may not need any extra cooling.

neat.
