Angry Itunes stutters and skips
hey guys, gals, and other forms of life.

this is about a problem i have with itunes that i believe stems from
my sound device. what happens is when i use Internet explorer, my downloaded songs
skip and stutter when the page is loading, or when i am scrolling. my brother says
my computer(which is an hp) has everything integrated in to the motherboard,
which can drag performance. on another note, my sound device is a realtek 7.1 high def.
while i have no hd speakers, it sounds great, but when im surfing......

is it a driver problem? or should i invest in a better independent sound card?

oh, and im running windows vista home premium (32 bit)

EDIT: now im listening to music from my browser in another window and that skips as well. its really annoying

How much RAM?

Anything less than 512MB and I'd point to that.

although my graphics controller shares 128 mb, i have 2 gigs.
but yeah, i would have blamed that too if i had less than 512.
