xp64 drivers for HP Printer...
I have an HP Laserjet 4250tn printer and a Laserjet 2015d. I upgraded my PC's to xp64 and the Printer drivers won't install on these new machines.

I spent about 2 hours with HP engineers, and they weren't able to install their drivers on brand new xp64 machines... using their newly created xp64 drivers!

Their drivers simply don't work properly on xp64. Period.

Does anyone have a solution... or know where I can get hold of universal printer drivers which may work?

Thanks,
Riggie

I tried the P2015 drivers, and they fail every time. Have not tried the 4240 drivers on the 5250tn laser printers. Will do so and report back, thanks.

Duh, this is a tough one. Got 2 expensive printers that can't get installed...

The HP laserjet 4240 PCL 6 drivers worked! The installation also froze at the end, but the driver got installed and the printer is working. Thanks for your advice. Really appreciate it.
