I've uninstalled the display drivers and I can get the resolution up to 1024 by something but it's a bit sluggish and I got a notice about installing the drivers. I'll try to install the drivers from the CD and hopefully that will work.

Make sure you uninstall the MS update as well, then install the ati driver.

I've uninstalled the display drivers through the device manager and tried to reinstall them from the CD, but no luck so far. I'll try uninstalling the update and downloading new drivers tomorrow.

I havn't made any progress with my PC so far . I'm installing Windows updates now but I doubt they'll do much. I'm going to create a new partition on my HD and do a fresh install of Windows.

It's been a long time since my PC broke, so I bought a new graphics card because my old one seemed to be completely broken. It works fine now and hopefully will continue to. Thanks for all your help
