Exclamation Huge Monitor Problem
Well, last night when I was hooking my computer up in place of my mom's computer to use the internet in her room, I kinda broke a few of the thingies sticking out of the monitor plug when switching between my mom's computer and my computer and now the color on the computer is..... distorted. Is there any way to fix this without buying a new monitor? She's going to kill me when she finds out

Unfortunately, unless you are skilled with a soldering iron and pretty much knowledgeable with replacing a connector shielding and all, you are pretty much out of luck. You could take it to a reputale repair shop, and pay them to fix it for you. But, replacing the monitor would be the best option unless it would be a huge expense for you.

Many of the monitor cables can be purchased and replaced. See if it comes off both ends.

There is also that. If this is an LCD monitor it is easy. Most have a removable Cable. I have noticed that lately most CRT monitors that come with big box systems are hard wired at the monitor end. If it is a higher end CRT Monitor purchased separtely you just may be in luck with just replacing the Cable.

It's not removable. Guess We'll just have to get a new one. Thanks you all.
