Unhappy Analog Headphones HELP!
After using analog headphones / speakers for a few months, I tried using USB headphones instead. These were great, but when they broke I tried to put the analog ones back in, my computer didn't recognise any headphones or speakers in the analog slot. Is there a way to revert the computer to detect analog input without a system restore?

Summary: My computer doens't detect Analog headphones.
OS / Specs: Dell DV051, Windows XP Home. In-Built Dell audio card.

Check your volume and sound settings. Make sure that your devices are correct in the Sounds Control Panel applet.

Its not that my volume setting is wrong, it's that my computer doesn't detect analog input AT ALL. Anybody know how to fix this?
