Windows XP RAM Upgrade problem
Ok I just recently acquired 3 512MB sticks of RAM from a friend. My MoBo is this one right here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.as...2-eSATA2&s=939 Right now the MoBo has 1GB of G.Skill DDR 400 PC3200 RAM. My friend gave me a stick of PC3200 512MB Corsair RAM. Now when I install just the Corsair into DIMM 2 and the G.Skill in DIMM 1 the computer boots fine. As soon as I throw one of the other generic brands of PC3200 512MB RAM in the BIOS and POST go fine and it counts the RAM and says OK but as soon as XP boots it doesn't even make it to the desktop and the computer just automatically reboots. This is leading to me believe it is a problem in Windows XP. If anyone knows what the problem is and how I can fix it I would really appreciate it, thank you in advance.

Funny, it leads me to believe that their is a problem with the RAM. Otherwise, the Corsair wouldn't work. It also leads me to believe that you already found the problem.
