HDD help
Now I dont know if this is a software concern or a hardware one but I will try it here

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook with Vista installed I want to use my spare 80gb PS3 hdd "seagate OEM only Momentus 5400.3" and install Win Xp on it.

I poped out the Dell HDD and put the PS3 hdd in the bracket and tryed to install XP on it it worked fine but I got a error in Win XP setup saying there is no HDD installed, but when it starts bios can read that there is no boot sector on the PS3 hdd. and I know the drive worked in my PS3

I only need this so I can play my older games on XP some just wont run on Vista even when I run as admin or when I use the Admin account. and I am not willing to install over the Vista HDD

Again Bump, I can't find any information online and Dell wont even talk to me concerning this. This is all I have.
