Dell latitude d800 won't POST or just freezes
Hi,
My old latitude d800 has been working fine and then today I turned it on and walked away. When I came back the screen was frozen mouse wouldn't move. held the power button and then it wouldn't turn on. sometimes all the lights come on (power, numlock, wireless, bluetooth) and other times just the small power light and nothing. I cleaned a bunch of dust out of the fan but still nothing. If I keep trying it will work for 5 min then the mouse and keyboard wont work but if I plug in a usb mouse sometimes that will work then freeze. I have also gotten an error about a bad module in the D-bay so I pull my cd-rom drive out and put it back in and it will work for a little longer then freeze. While it was working I installed a temp/fan monitor and it was at 55C so I maxed the fan and it went to 40C but still froze within minutes.
This happens with battery only and AC power only.
All this started this morning!
thanks,
Cory

still not working
So I have removed the RAM and the hard drive and still nothing. I also pulled the CPU and it doesn't look fried. When I press the power button just the lights come on for like 2 sec and nothing else happens.
any suggestions?
