Added Memory - Problem not solved
I ran the stability test and the system became unusable after about 20 minutes. This happened about the time the screen saver started. There was a message on the screen about the nv4_disp video card was not working properly. Prior to this the system seemed to be very slow and unstable while the test was running.

I didn't see the power sticker but I did find this from the manual:
The 250-W power supply can operate from an AC power source of 115 VAC at 60 Hz or 230 VAC at 50 Hz. The power supply provides the DC operating voltages and currents listed in the following table.
Output Voltage
Minimum Current (A)
Maximum Current (A)1
+12 VDC
0.0
14.03
+5 VDC
1.0
22.03
+3.3 VDC
0.1/0.02
18.03
–12 VDC
0.0
1.0
+5 VFP
0.0
2.0
When the current load is outside of the ranges listed, but within each specified output current range, the +5-V, +12-V, and +3.3-V outputs are allowed to regulate at +/–10% of nominal DC voltages.
1Maximum continuous total DC output cannot exceed 200 W. Maximum continuous combined load on +5-VDC and +3.3-VDC outputs cannot exceed 135 W.
2In system applications where +3.3 VDC is not used, these values may be 0 A without affecting the regulation on the other outputs.
3The required full load combinations are adjusted so that the total output power is less than or equal to 250 W.

Something else that has been strange. Sometimes when I click I.E. it doesn't open up but yet is listed under Processes and using memory in the Task Manager. It's not listed under Applications.

When I keep the Task Manager open often times the cpu usage reaches 100%.

Here is the problem.
When I open the stability program my cpu usage is at a contant 100%. This is when the program is open, not even running the test!

It's a 250. Well, that is not too big, but not too small, either. It really depends what else you have added to the machine that uses the power. But I don't think the power supply is too small.

How about the stress test? I haven't tried it yet so I will right now.

That test doesn't tell you much, really. It uses 100% CPU at startup when detecting hardware, then seems to go down to around 40% when maintaining the small graphic in the program.

Did you get decent fps in the benchmark?
