Hello,
I'm getting a new laptop- here are the specs.
Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-55 1.8G (Dual Core)
3GB DDR2
NVIDIA GeForce 7000M
Now, I KNOW the nvidia card is NOT a top of the line card. I do know, however, that it CAN run heavier games (even crysis, on low-med settings). So I don't need anybody telling me my card sucks, because I know it does.
The nvidia geforce 7000M has something called "turbocache," but I have no experience using such a feature. I'll be turning down the settings on Vista to "performance" instead of "quality" so it runs smoother. 3GB of ram seems like plenty to have, but how does this turbocache come into play, and how can I use it to help heavier games like bioshock, crysis, and mass effect run more smoothly? On a related note, would getting an extra gig of ram be advisable?
Thanks for the help.
