Good Day,
I have an IOGEAR GCS1764 passing video to a Gateway PFD2485W monitor. It works great at 1900x1200@60Hz providing the KVM is focused on the system at boot time.
If one of the system sleeps and "wakes up", or if a reboot happens while the focus is on another system, both XP SP3 and VISTA SP1 refuse to allow me to set the resolution back to 1900x1200 @ 60Hz, and I have to reboot the system with the focus on it to convince it that the monitor can handle it.
Is there a monitor driver that lets me hard-code the resolutions available as a "generic, non PnP monitor", or is there a way to signal the monitor driver to renegotiate with the monitor, without having to do a full reboot?
