My graphics card is a Nvidia 8800GT 512mb.
My monitor is a dell E197FP.
Both are great on their own, however when put together with the latest drivers they don't work. I updated both of them but whenever i get to installing the latest graphics card driver it tells me it can't create the "panel extension".
Everyone else who seems to suffer a similer problem just reinstalls the graphics card having unistalled and rebooted. However i have done this and the same thing still happens. It goes into 640* resolution and wont let me change, even though on the display settings it states that everything is how it should be. Both my monitor and graphics card drivers are in place and "working"
hope i have been detailed enough, thanks very much
