Question Driver and Hard Drive Question
Is there somewhere I can look to find out the number of ports on my hard drive. I need to install a new driver and it has two downloads. One is a
PCI to 2 PORT SATA 150 and the other is
PCI to 4 PORT SATA 150

I have an ACER laptop 5100.

Thanks

Just from what you're said, that model doesn't have multiple hard drive ports. It's a single drive laptop. I'm not sure what you mean by "number of ports" on my hard drive...

Are you looking for the Device Manager to Identify your DVD player? That would be under Control Panel -Maintenance and Performance -System- Hardware-Device Manager. That should Identify everything in your system and is usually where we go to determine driver needs. Jazz
