Monitor Blacking Out Randomly
I pieced this system together about 3 years ago. It worked fine once I figured out what components were crap and which were gold (thanks to this site). The problem I have now is that my monitor will go black randomly as if it lost signal. Once it does, I have to reboot for the screen to come back up. As I said, the time it takes to go black is completely random. It happens when I'm playing games or tooling around on the internet. I have blown dust out of the system, reseated the video card and updated video drivers. From what I can tell, the video cord isn't kinked and the connection to the monitor has been redone multiple times. The problem still occurs, and I don't know what else to do other than to buy a new video card at this point. I've read some other threads with similar problems, but most of them seem to suggest things that I've already done. Does anyone have other suggestions?

My computer specs are in the link.
