which is better KVR800D2N5 or KVR800D2N6?

KVR800D2N5. It has lower Cas latency, so it's a bit faster.

what does that cas or ras stand for?could you explain it to me so I can help myself on some other cases of choosing better memory..

Good latency at DDR 2 800 is 5(5-5-5-15) best latency at reasonable prices is 4(4-4-4-12) for example these have that: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145194 Those are really great sticks, though they don't work on low-end motherboards. What's your motherboard model?

those are really good memory I saw from your site you gave..But unfortunately I am located in Asia though, South East asia in specific, Philippines.. I am using RedFox board, I don't know the model but it is AM2 socket..

Okay, download PC Wizard. Then install, run the program. First, you should see your mainboard model. Post it here.
