Unhappy "No Audio Device"
I recently had to wipe out everything on my computer and re-install windows xp. After I did this my printer and speakers didn't work. For my printer, I went to the hp website and downloaded the driver and it works good as new, easy as pie. But my JBL speakers had no such thing on their website. Ive looked through several threads about downloading drivers and chipsets, etc. but none of them have been helpful. Under the properties on "sounds and audio devices" all the options are greyed out. and under hardware:

1) Audio Codecs
2) Audio Codecs
3) Legacy Audio Drivers
4) Media Control Devices
5) Legacy Video Capture Devices
6) Video Codecs

Motherboard: CPU Type Intel Celeron D 346, 3066 MHz (23 x 133)Motherboard Name Unknown Motherboard Chipset ATI Radeon Xpress 200System Memory 448 MB (DDR2-400 DDR SDRAM) BIOS Type Award (12/19/05)Communication Port ECP Printer Port (LPT1)
Multimedia: Audio Adapter ATI SB450 - High Definition Audio Controller
Any other needed information, just ask me
Any help you can give is much appreciated.

I take it that these are USB interface speakers.

Are you not going to use the Onboard sound?

If they are USB interface speakers, you might want to check the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" Section of device manager
