Solved: Charging Laptop Batteries
Hello

I run my ACER laptop mostly from home and it is hardly taken out.
So I mostly don't need to run it from battery, instead I use AC main power source, which is connected to the batteries charger anyway.

Now, the cord is always plugged in whether I am using the laptop or not. Is this the best way to use the laptop under this circumstances?

Or should I instead, unplug the cord after shutting down the laptop?

It wont hurt the laptop to have it pluuged in,but you
would use less power by unplugging it from the wall when not
in use,as the ac adapter is always drawing some power while plugged in.

Thanks for the reply.

I understand the only issue here is small power drawn by the AC adapter.

This will be have no affect on the battery life, right?
