26" LCD Monitor Problems, Please Help!
Let me first state that I really do not know as much about computers as I should, and I appreciate any help that anyone can offer.

I recently hooked up my Gateway 26" LCD TV/Monitor and I would like to get it set up so that I can have open two windows (an excel sheet and another work piece window). Basically, I would like to size of the windows and the stuff in it to be the same size that it used to be when connected to the 17" monitor. IF this is possible, please let me know what I need to do set that up.

Also, What software and hardware, if any, do I need to set up 2 monitors?

Thank you in advance for your help!

At the top right of a program window there are 3 buttons.
Click the middle button to make a smaller window.
Then you can click and drag the sides of the window
to size as you like.

Thank you for your reply, perhaps I was not clear enough.

I understand that I can minimize the windows and such, but when I do so, I cannot see any more than 4 columns in the excel sheet and I cannot see a whole web page in the window of the browser. Is there a way to shrink everything down like it was previously, but still fill up the entire screen of the new monitor.

Thanks again for your help.

Sounds like the resolution is set too low.
