computer freezes when i go into my computer, my documents, control panel, etc
hi
just two days ago my computer keeps freezing when i go into certain programs. i really dont know much about computer so i dont know what to do.. i did download a photo editor around the same time it all started to happen, so i dont know, pleasee help!

forgot to say i also ran a virus scan but everything was fine. any ideas of what could be the problem?

hard to say if its hardware or software at this point. downlaod your hdd makers diag software and test the drive, see if anything comes up. I would have a back up plan for your data at this point. Buying a new hdd would be a good idea because you could do a fresh load of windows and see if it still freezes

Do you have a SD card reader in your PC? If so is there a SD card in the slot? How about a USB flash drive connected?
