Solved: Motherboard not getting power
Hi guys I was messing with my desktop today and I dont know what I did but now when I press the power button nothing happens. I have jumped started my PSU (Power supply) http://www.overclock.net/faqs/96712-...upply-psu.html and that works.

I have connected the POWER SW, POWER LED, HDD LED and RESET SW. When I jump started the PSU The fan on the PSU worked but the fan inside ther computer didn't. What can I do. My motherboard is GA-8S661FXM-755

Thanks In Advance

If you had the front panel switches and LED's disconnected maybe one of them is connected wrong. Disconnect all them and try jumping the system by shorting just the two pins for the front panel power switch.

Also, try another power supply.

And what were you messing with in the PC? Whatever it was may be the problem; disconnect or remove it and see what happens.

Its not unsafe but a new switch costs only a few dollars.
