Let me guess, you installed a new driver via windows update due to a security issue. Is that correct?

yes that is correct.

It was an optional update, but I just let it install it, and then when I restarted my computer, I got that WARNING message...

What do I do?

It is a simple fix.
1 Uninstall the windows update
2 Uninstall the ati driver and CCC
3 Download the newest driver from the ati site for your system and install it.

That should fix your issue.

BTW as to windows updates for drivers, they very often can cause problems. Windows drivers are not optimized for performance. It is much better to get updated drivers from the hardware maker; in this case ati.
